Operational Security for Humanitarian and Peace Missions

This division is made up of experts with direct experience in the United Nations, international organisations and global NGOs. Its purpose is to design, implement and supervise security schemes in highly complex environments, supporting humanitarian aid, development, human rights and peacekeeping operations. We combine international protocols with tactical capability, field intelligence and institutional liaison to guarantee the protection of personnel, assets and critical operations in conflict or unstable areas.

We analyse the operating context — geographic, political, criminal and social — of the areas where missions will deploy, determining direct and indirect risks to international personnel, mobile infrastructure and logistics bases.

What it includes

  • Diagnosis of regional threats and hostile actors.
  • Risk maps by type of operation and level of presence.
  • Assessment of access, movement routes and exclusion zones.
  • Analysis of armed conflict, social tension and climate events.

We develop protection schemes for camps, mobile clinics, convoys and operational centres, with contingency plans for violence, blockades, disasters or inter-communal crises.

  • Evacuation, medical extraction and secure transfer protocols.
  • Access rules, perimeter control and field protection.
  • Continuity plans for disruption or forced withdrawal.
  • Inter-agency coordination with local authorities and international bodies.

We train civilian staff, volunteers, delegates and international personnel in self-protection, situational awareness, survival in hostile conditions, tactical first aid and crisis management.

What it includes

  • Preparation workshops for unstable and hostile environments.
  • Course in threat recognition and use of safe routes.
  • Training in basic medical emergency management and evacuation.
  • Drills for ambush, protest, looting or express kidnap scenarios.

From our operations centre we track deployed personnel, mobile assets and temporary bases 24/7, activating protocols in the event of lost contact, threats or attack.
